LIFE LESSONS AND RELEVANT CONNECTIONS

SECTION 4:

The life lesson that I found for this section is that you can't be fully happy unless you have others to share it with you. I feel as though that this life lesson goes with

this section because this is what Chris stated himself. Chris dropped everything he had to leave for his adventure to Alaska. He donated his money to charity, left his

home and his family, without telling a single person. He thought that this is what he wanted to do. This is what would make him happy. But nearing the end of his

journey, he realized that Happiness is never real unless it is shared. My opinion on why Chris wrote this is that he wasn't completely happy because he didnt have

anyone to be happy with. Although Chris felt this way, I think that he was truly satisfied with his life because he got to do what he wanted to do and he didn't hold

himself back. I don't think Chris has any regrets in his life, except the fact that he died so young. Chris didn't go on this adventure to purposely die, he left to be

happy, to live his life the way he always dreamed. Chris died alone and weak, but still happy. He was happy for himself, but probably would have enjoyed having

someone he loved to share his happiness with. This life lesson goes to show that you can still pursue your dreams to be happy, but being with ones you love will

make the event even more memorable.
